Annual Spring Choral Concert: Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 7 PM in the Northwest High School auditorium
The concert is open to the community and to all your family and friends. The students have worked very hard to prepare this concert music, and they are eager to share it with you. We hope that you will take time to share this evening of beautiful music with us.
We will sing a variety of music from multiple genres, historical periods, and countries. The program will feature, Chorus One, Chorus Two, Show Choir, Treble Choir, Men’s Ensemble, Chamber Choir and our full Concert Choir. Our senior farewell song will be a beautifully memorable highlight for the evening.
Admission is by donation. The suggested donation is $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per student. All financial contributions go toward the purchase of supplies and equipment that support the vocal program at Northwest High School. Flowers will be for sale should you be inclined to purchase one for one of the performers.
There will also be a basket present should you feel inclined to contribute to the Leonard E. Cave Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Leonard E. Cave Memorial Scholarship goes to a deserving student to further his/her education at the college level. Mr. Cave is the beloved NWHS art teacher who was tragically killed by a drunk driver on July 11, 2006. The recipient of Leonard E. Memorial Scholarship last year was Alexander W. Weber.
