National/Government Libraries

	The National Archives Archives Library Information Center (ALIC) provides access to information about American history and government, including primary sources and images.
	The U.S. Department of Education's Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) provides access to education literature through journal articles and other education-related resources.
	The U.S. Government Printing Office makes official information from all three branches of government available on the Internet. The link for Ben's Guide to U.S. Government is great for NSL reviews.
	Among other things, the Library of Congress website provides access to multimedia American History resources through its American Memory collection and access to legislative information through THOMAS.
	NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center Library provides access to freely available materials for scientific and technical research, with a focus on aerospace engineering and space and earth sciences.
	USDA's National Agricultural Library supports research in agriculture and related sciences by providing access to resources such as USDA publications and information on plants and animals.
	The National Institute of Health Library supports biomedical and behavioral research. The Research Tools pull-down menu has links to online books, journals, websites, and subject searches.
	The National Institute of Standards and Technology Virtual Library provides access to information on biotechnology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, and physics, among other subjects.
