• · Attention to all student-athletes who participated in sports sports: The Spring Sports Awards Night is on Wednesday May 20th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. We will be giving out letters and certificates, as well as the state academic awards. All spring sports' student-athletes and their coaches are expected to attend our Awards Night. Please remember that this is a dress up affair.
• · All football players of Northwest, There is a mandatory meeting on Friday May 22nd at 11 am. It is for all players in grades 9-11. The meeting will be in room 355. Please be on time.
• · The Boys basketball team will be holding try-outs this Monday for summer league. Varsity will practice at 2:30 and J.V. at 4:30. Practice will take place in the main gym! That is it for sports, back to the anchors.
• · High School Assessments have begun. Remember that on days when you are scheduled to take a test, you are required to report to school no later than 7:20 am. In addition, please remember that you are not allowed to possess any electronic devices during testing. If it is determined that you have an electronic device, your test will be invalidated.
• · The school store has snack and drink sales on now until supplies last! All 20 ounce drinks for $1.00; 3 snacks for $2.00 and small drinks for $.60. Come and get a bargain while supplies last!
• · Registration for Summer School at Northwest High School has begun. The deadline for turning in your registration is June 5th, 2009. If you are unsure about which class or classes you should sign up for, please see your guidance counselor.
• · Attention All Seniors. If you are interested in be the student speaker at graduation, please see Ms. Johnson or Mr. Mooney in room 250 for more information.
