  • · Hey Northwest did you know that the Jagwire is now available online. Just go to the NW website and clink on the link. The Jaguar is now just the way you like it. Ready at anytime.
  • · Samantha Thompson rode for the Northwest Equestrian team at the December Varsity show. She got 3 3rd place ribbons for a total of 12 points for the NW team. Team photo is Dec 10 at 12:15. Any questions about the Equestrian team can be answered by Ms. Crist or Dr. Fortier.
  • · Attention Soccer Fans. Don’t forget the G.I.F.A. (Gee-Fa) all-star tournament, “Clash of the Titans”, starts today at lunch in the main gym. Period 5 will play period 6 in the 1st game of a double elimination tournament. That means 2 losses and you’re out! Period 7 will play the winner of the 1st game today as well. Please get to the gym early so we can get started as soon as possible. The tournament will continue tomorrow and possibly Wednesday.
  • · JV Boys defeated Richard Montgomery 39-34 on Friday Night.
    It took a great team effort defensively to pull out the home opener. The boys play next on Tuesday @ Seneca Valley 5:15PM - Varsity 7:00 PM. The NW Jags Basketball website will have Game Photos posted throughout the year of Fans and Players !
    COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR JAGS !!! That is it for sports.
  • · New scholarship opportunities are available in the College/Career Information Center. They include: Carson Scholars Program available to freshmen, sophomores & juniors; Towson University Principal’s Scholarship, Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarships; Montgomery College Scholarships; Air Force & Navy Wives’ Scholarships; Hispanic College Fund Scholarships and more. Visit the College/Career Information Center during lunch or after school and watch JAG TV for details.
  • · The first Chemathon team meeting will be TODAY at lunch in Rm. 313.
  • · Attention Sophomore Officers, there will be a quick meeting TODAY at lunch in room 323.
  • · Millions of Darfurians are being harmed due to the ongoing genocide launched by the Sudanese government more than four years ago. Help support the cause to stop the genocide by fasting with Students for Change in Darfur on December 10th, 2008. Pick up a ribbon from Room 217 and break the fast with us at 6 in the Cafeteria.
  • · The Coffee House is coming up on Friday, December 12th at 6:30PM in room 204. There will be coffee, snacks, music and poetry. Only $3and you can pre- order your literary Magazine. Be there and bring your friends.
  • Do you want to be a part of Black History at Northwest. There will be a meeting Monday in the TV Studio to continue plans for the month of celebration. Come join us
