2009 Summer Volleyball Camps

• American Volleyball Camps (Boys Divisions & Girls Divisions), July 13-16 OR July 28-31, American University, Washington, DC, This year's court coaches include Aaron Shepardson (former mens National Team player and AU's first assistant coach), Jolene Shepardson (former player at Univ. of South Florida and current AU second assistant), Silvia Johnson (former AU player and coach, former Long Beach State setter, and member of the 1998 National Championship team), and members of the 2009 Penn State mens volleyball team.

• George Mason Volleyball Camps (Girls Camps & Boys Camps), George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, The Patriot Volleyball Camp is entering its 26th year. Coaches Kendrick, Chao and Porch will once again rely on the expertise of the George Mason University Women and Men’s Volleyball teams and other top coaches from the Northern Va. area.

• Good Counsel Volleyball Camps, Good Counsel High School, Olney, MD (Girls Only). Early enrollment is encouraged. Enrollment by May 1st will allow for a $15 reduction in tuition per camp session per camper (not including conditioning sessions). If a camper needs to withdrawal once enrolled prior to June 1 will receive a full refund. Withdrawal after June 1 will receive a refund of 50% of the camp fees. Camper enrollment will be confirmed by email and further instructions will be mailed to the campers one month prior to the camp.

• Gilchrist/Zanni Volleyball Camps (Girls Only), Sherwood High School, Olney, MD. The Gilchrist/Zanni Volleyball Camps are for girls ages 10-incoming high school seniors (for the 2008-09 school year). The camps are run by Scott Zanni (Head Coach at Magruder) and Bonnie Gilchrist (Former Head Coach at Sherwood). Both are accomplished high school varsity volleyball coaches, played collegiate volleyball and have years of experience teaching volleyball. They are committed to delivering a quality camp that focuses on developing volleyball skills in a fun atmosphere that: - employs only experienced counselors who have played in college or coached HS/club volleyball - features a low camper/counselor ratio (at least one counselor for every 7 campers)- are reasonably priced per hour when compared to other local volleyball camps.
